New spoken word trends continue to gather pace. This night pitches stand-up comedians against poetry stars in a live battle. Features the rapping teacher Mark Grist and slam champion Amy Mcallister.

3. SEX WORKERS OPERA

Breaking through stigma and stereotypes, Sex Workers’ Opera is unique multimedia production written and performed by sex workers and their allies. Fuses opera, hip hop, projections and poetry – critics have hailed the show’s unflinchingly honest, upliftingly human insight into the lives of sex workers around the world.

4. LONDON’S SMALLEST ART GALLERY

Budvar has teamed up with Zigfrid on Hoxton Square to showcase London’s smallest art gallery. Images are inspired by East London, street art & gentrification.

5. ART MACABRE

A life-drawing class with a difference! Art Macabre invites people to immerse themselves in a world of medieval monsters, fantastical beasts and macabre history through sketching nude and costumed models. Explore the darker side of life drawing at these theatrical, dynamic drawing salons. Create your own fantastical creature sketches, inspired by the myths of Middle Ages.

6. LONDON ART FAIR
