Here’s your weekly co. mailer, featuring a host of handpicked recommendations from the left-field of London’s arts and culture world.

Lock down your aerials…

Contemporary visual artist Ann Veronica Janssen explores light and colour in this new installation as she invades the gallery with hues of mist. The installation is caught in a state of suspension, obscuring any detail of surface or depth. Instead, attention is focused on the process of perception itself.

Visitors be warned; the installation is deliberately disorientating with very limited visibility. Entrance into the space is limited, so keep an eye on Twitter for extra updates: @explorewellcome.

Why should people who believe in ghosts have all the fun? Come walk the atmospheric and ancient streets of Smithfield and Farringdon and hear the stories of screaming Anne, carpet lifting pub spirits, the horrible secret of Bleeding Heart Yard and the ghost of Scratching Fanny on Cock Lane (to name but a few).

This circular walk is promised to be funny, irreverent and informative. It will make you wonder what ghosts are, what ghost stories say about who we are, and may even start you thinking about how we perceive the world.
