1. LONDON BOOK FAIR
The London Book Fair opens next week, with a special focus on the best digital minds in the publishing industry and a focus on the Mexican industry. The London Book Fair is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and sale & distribution of content – not to be missed by anyone in books, publishing and creative content.

Re-imagining the future of circus, Circolombia are back for another London show – Acelere. The show is limited to just twelve performers, all graduates from Circo Para Todos, the National School for circus arts, which helps readjust and train at-risk youth. The “viscerally raw” show promises feats of extraordinary strength, balance and energy.

3. TOWN HALL CHERUBS
The new show at phoenix-like Battersea Arts Centre sets children off on a gentle and dream-like adventure. Throughout the show, audiences interactive with people and place, and discover what makes the old town hall so magical. It promises to be a magical and tender journey with many surprises along the way.

4. CURIOUS CANINE KITCHEN
A Holistic private dining event for our four-legged friends, opens in East London this weekend. The Curious Canine Kitchen will pop up on Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April in Shoreditch. The event features two sittings each day this ‘Healthy Doggie Fine Dining Experience’ is the first of its kind to serve high-end, freshly prepared, organic canine cuisine. Organisers hope it will educate dog-owners to deeply understand the importance of food and herbal medicine to animal health.

5. CONGRATULATIONS BARRY MANILOW, FROM PIZZA EXPRESS
And finally, a huge congratulations to Barry Manilow! To celebrate the crooner’s marriage to long-time partner and manager Gary Kief the clever people at Pizza Express launched a new pizza – The Copacabana. It featured a tomato base, mozarella cheese, sausage, chicken marinated in marinated chilli powder, and baby plum tomatoes marking out a love-heart. True love.
