Unity Shortlisted for two 2020 SABRE Awards

We’re excited to share that Unity has been shortlisted for two 2020 SABRE Awards — The Diamond SABRE Award for Superior Achievement in Brand-Building and an Industry Sector Award for Consumer Goods (Home & Furniture).

Costa Coffee tasked Unity to help create and shape its growing CSR programme, which would build on its reputation as a force for good and a sustainability pioneer.

We had to go beyond talking the talk to demonstrate Costa’s commitment to creating true behaviour change, making it easy for customers to make the conscious choice to be sustainable, every day.

Our solution was simple, powerful, intriguing and exceptionally effective, harnessing trends, technology and solid action to generate widespread interest and coverage from top-tier titles, boost Costa sales and help the brand do better – all by doing better.

ADT: A Darker Time

ADT has been the leading name in home security, fire and alarm systems for more than 145 years, with an extensive range of innovative products and services on offer. With a heritage as supreme as ADT’s, brand awareness is not a problem.

But in a competitive industry, where it struggled was to be seen as culturally relevant and aligned with ground-breaking trends.

In a bid to become bolder, with a distinctive tone of voice and presence, Unity’s ideal of ADT was to not detract from the brand’s ‘traditional’ persona but capitalise on this – under the guise that crime is deeply embedded in entertainment and popular culture.

A year-long campaign ensued, concluding with a hugely successful launch of a bespoke novella, A Dark Time, written for ADT by a popular crime fiction author with security advice woven into the plot.




In a competitive field of more than 600 entries, we’re delighted to be among the few selected by the panel of industry leaders recognised for Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement.
