The Lost Village
To launch the digital and DVD versions of Smurfs: The Lost Village for Sony Pictures Animation we created an interactive augmented reality experience that brought the Smurfs to life and encouraged imaginative play at home using Aurasma – an AR app . The experience received a phenomenal response from top parenting writers including MailOnline parenting journalist Tracey Blake. To support the interactive experience, we conducted research into imaginative play, looking at what age children stop believing in magic and why. And did it work? This was sold in to media and secure 64 pieces of coverage, including the MailOnline, The Sun and FemaleFirst.
